About 45 years ago, at the tender age of 15, Marvin Meyer acquired his prized possession – a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Hard Top. Little did he know that this car would become the cornerstone of his passion for automobiles. With a few tweaks here and there, Marvin quickly established himself as the “car guy” in school, hot-rodding his Chevy around town with pride.

Decades passed, but Marvin’s love for his first car never waned. In fact, he dedicated himself to turning it into one of the finest Tri-Five Chevy builds ever seen. His dream came true in 2017 when his beloved Chevy received the prestigious Top 25 pick at the Tri Five Nationals, an event featuring 2,800 cars. Not stopping there, it was subsequently chosen as one of the Top 5 cars by his fellow enthusiasts, ultimately earning the title of the last ’57 standing.

Marvin’s vision was clear – he wanted to build a ’57 Chevy Bel Air that would stand out from the crowd. In 1974, Markley Motors in Fort Collins, Colorado, painted the car with a custom color Marvin had in mind – 1970 Corvette Silver. However, due to a slight mix-up, the color turned out different, inadvertently creating the foundation for the unique custom color now known as “Silvereen.” This one-of-a-kind shade never fails to draw attention and admiration at car shows.

As the years passed, Marvin continued to enhance his Chevy’s performance. In May 2014, his family surprised him with an F1 ProCharger, adding a powerful and distinct whine to the engine’s roar. Then, in 2018, Marvin decided to upgrade the engine further. Unlike the conventional LS swap, he opted for an all-aluminum Dart 434 ci small-block engine, fitted with top-of-the-line internal components. The result? A jaw-dropping 1000+ horsepower beast, skillfully assembled by Wade Corners Nelsen Auto Tech to handle the ProCharger’s might.

The impressive list of modifications includes a Holley blow-thru carb, Dart polished intake, Dart polished aluminum cylinder heads, and a PRC polished aluminum radiator. This Tri-Five beauty is not just about looks; it boasts the power and performance to match its stunning appearance.
