“Somehow, Trixie survived, maybe because she knew that she was pregnant with kittens and had to survive for their sake,” Milo’s Sanctuary, a haven for special needs cats, later shared.

However, her dire condition was further complicated by the fact that she couldn’t feel below her waist, making her unaware of her impending labor. Sadly, two of her kittens didn’t survive the birth process. Recognizing her dire need for immediate medical attention, shelter staff swiftly arranged for her to see a veterinarian who performed a lifesaving C-section to deliver the remaining four kittens.

Against all odds, the quartet of tiny kittens survived, and Trixiebelle, despite her paralysis, wholeheartedly embraced her role as a loving mother.
